The app that runs your club's social sessions.
Post the session once. Members RSVP, walk-ins get added at the gate, and the app shuffles fair rounds across your courts. Six racket sports, made in Perth.

The Problem
Running the Tuesday social shouldn't be a second job.
Clubs
Your crew's home base.
Create a club for your community, or join one near you. A cover, a members roster with live ratings, a shared feed, group chat, pinned announcements and every session in one place.

Also in the app
The rest of it, without the sales pitch.
Play Now
Courtside already? Scan each other in, play, drop the score — it lands on both records.
The map
Clubs, courts and open sessions on the map around you.
Open & specific matches
Post an open match across a few suburbs, or challenge one player at a fixed time.
Match chat
A private thread per match, with the court and time pinned to the top.
Leaderboards
Club, friends and city boards, singles and doubles, with your rating history.
Get it
Phone at the court. Browser at the committee table.
The whole app runs at app.frienemi.com — same clubs, same sessions, same results, nothing to install. Set up the club on a real keyboard; let everyone else RSVP and score from their phone.

On your phone
Notifications, courtside scan-to-score, and the session in your pocket.
Trust & Safety
Confirmed rivals. Fair matches. Your location, your call.
Location stays private
Approximate area only until both players confirm. No broadcasting your home club.
Every opponent is rated
A live rating on every player — no mystery opponents, no sandbaggers.
Scores both sides agree on
Both players confirm before a result counts, and repeated no-shows cost you access.
FAQ
The short answers.
Wait — Frienemi?+
Friend plus enemy. Tennis is the weird sport where the person you most want to beat is the one you most want to keep showing up. Frienemi is built for that feeling — the rival you high-five at the net, then try like hell to beat next weekend.
Does my club have to pay for this?+
Not while you're piloting it. Founding clubs get a rate locked in for three years, and you'll be quoted it in writing before your pilot ends — no invoice is ever a surprise. And when your club takes payments, the money goes straight into your club's own Stripe account. We never hold your funds.
We already use something for memberships and court bookings.+
Keep it. Frienemi isn't a registration or booking system and doesn't try to replace one — it runs the sessions. Your Tuesday social, the roster, the rounds, the results, the chat. It sits alongside whatever the committee already uses for compliance and courts.
Do all our members need to install an app?+
No. The full app runs in a browser at app.frienemi.com — same club, same sessions, same account. The iOS and Android apps are there for the people who want notifications and courtside scanning. And people without an account at all can still be added as walk-ins.
Do I need a rating or a grade to play?+
No. The first time you join something rated, the app asks a couple of quick questions and gives you a starting rating from them — nothing to fill in up front. It moves up or down with every Competitive match: beat someone above you and you climb. D-grade social players and pennants players both get a number that means something inside your club.
Which cities are live?+
We're rolling out city by city, starting in Perth. A club can start anywhere though — the session, the roster and the rounds don't depend on anyone else being nearby.

Social sessions
Have a go. This is the actual thing.
Someone turns up who isn't in the app — add them as a walk-in. Press shuffle and the app pairs everyone across your courts: whoever sat out goes on first, the strong court stays strong, and partners rotate. Play it out below — nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
