In one line
Frienemi is the app a racket-sport club runs its social sessions on — the roster, the rounds, the results and the fees, in one place.
In a paragraph
Frienemi is the app a racket-sport club runs its social sessions on. The organiser posts the session once; members RSVP, walk-ins get added at the gate, and the app shuffles fair rounds and keeps the results. Clubs also collect membership and guest fees online, straight into their own Stripe account. Six sports: tennis, badminton, pickleball, padel, squash, table tennis.
Founder
Frienemi is built by Enoch Long, an Australian software developer based in Perth. It started as an app for players — a way to get a hit organised without another round of group-chat coordination. What happened instead is that clubs picked it up. Committees started using it to run their weekly socials, and it turned out the roster, the shuffle and the results mattered far more than the matchmaking did. In August 2026 the company followed the evidence and rebuilt Frienemi as software for clubs. Frienemi is a product of Short Technology Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Perth, Western Australia.

Suggested boilerplate
Frienemi is club software for racket sports. Committees use it to run their social sessions end to end: the roster, RSVPs, walk-in guests at the gate, auto-shuffled rounds across every court, live standings and a session report afterwards — alongside club announcements, chat and a public club page anyone can read. Clubs can also collect membership, session and guest fees online, paid straight into their own Stripe account. Built in Perth by Short Technology Pty Ltd, Frienemi supports tennis, badminton, pickleball, padel, squash and table tennis. frienemi.com | press@frienemi.com
