1. Acceptance
By creating a Frienemi account or using the Frienemi app, website, or any related service ("Frienemi"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Frienemi.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Frienemi. By using Frienemi you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@frienemi.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. User conduct
You agree not to (a) harass, threaten, or impersonate other users, (b) submit false ratings, scores, or reviews, (c) use Frienemi for commercial solicitation outside the app's intended use, or (d) interfere with the operation of Frienemi. Violations may result in suspension or termination at our sole discretion.
5. Match coordination & meetups
Frienemi facilitates introductions between tennis players for the purpose of arranging matches. You acknowledge that any meeting or activity arranged through Frienemi is at your own risk and that Short Tec Pty Ltd ("Short Tec") is not a party to any arrangement between users.
6. Ratings & data
Match scores, ratings, and gameplay data submitted to Frienemi may be displayed publicly within the app (e.g., on the Frienemi Board) in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting this data you grant Short Tec a non-exclusive licence to display and process it for the purpose of operating Frienemi.
7. Intellectual property
Frienemi, including its name, logo, app design, and source code, is owned by Short Tec and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Frienemi without our prior written permission.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing support@frienemi.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue Frienemi.
9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Frienemi is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Short Tec disclaims all warranties (express or implied) and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Frienemi. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Frienemi after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and Short Tec agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia for any dispute arising from these Terms.
