What we share, what stays private, and how to handle bad actors.
Who sees my exact location?+
Nobody — until both players confirm a match, only suburb-level area is shown. Even after confirm, only the agreed court address is visible to your match opponent, not your home club or your live location.
Who can message me?+
Only people inside an active match with you. There is no general chat / DM in Frienemi — match chat is the only inbound message surface. When the match ends, the chat thread closes for new messages.
How do I block or report someone?+
On any player's profile or any match chat, tap the ⋮ menu → Block or Report. Block is silent (they don't get notified, they just can't see or contact you). Report opens a form — pick a reason, optionally add evidence. We action reports within 48h.
What data does Frienemi collect?+
Account (email, name), match data (scores, opponents, ratings), device data (model, push token, app version), and optional location (only when you turn on match radius). Full breakdown in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data and do not run ads.
How do I export my data?+
Email privacy@frienemi.com with the subject "Data export". We send your full account export (JSON + CSV match history) within 30 days, per Australian Privacy Act requirements.
