How matches are created, accepted, played, and scored.
What's the difference between Quick Match and a manual match?+
Quick Match is one-tap: we choose the rivals based on rating + radius. A manual match lets you pick the time, court, and visibility yourself, then either invite a specific friend (Invite mode) or open it to anyone in your radius (Public mode).
How do I invite a specific friend?+
From the home screen, tap the FAB → Create Match → toggle "Invite a specific Frienemi" → pick from your friends list. They get a push notification with one-tap accept. If they don't respond in 24h the invite expires.
When does the exact court location unlock?+
Approximate area shows up on the match card from the moment you create it (suburb-level only). The exact court address only unlocks once both players have confirmed the match. This protects your home club from being broadcast to strangers.
How do I enter the score?+
After the match end time passes, tap the match card → "Enter score". Enter set-by-set scores. Your opponent gets a push to confirm. Once confirmed, your rating updates within 30 seconds.
What if my opponent doesn't confirm the score?+
If they don't confirm within 48h, the score auto-finalises with what you entered. If they dispute, the match goes to "review" — both players can submit evidence (photos of the scoresheet) and the dispute resolves within 5 working days.
What if my opponent doesn't show up?+
Open the match card → Report no-show. Your rating is unaffected. If a player gets repeated no-show reports their account is throttled or banned per our Fair Play policy.
